What we can't do for CBS....

The answer to the above question is, without thought, NOTHING !!
And here's what 3 of us did in the name of CBS...

 

Nothing BIG if your expecting so.... Here's the story....

So sugata and I go off to CNMC to watch the battle of the bands on 4th september 2009, friday. An ardent request from bhutu(Pratik Paul) was the only motivating force behind doing such a colossus feat. (you have no idea how lazy we are). 

So the band competition gets over and we are loitering about in the campus thinking what to do when bhutu hurries to meet us saying that he has to be present at the DUMB CHARRADES competition because he's involved in the council and all. Suddenly we decide that since we had nothing better to do, why not join the competition. All 3 of us agreed, BUT......one problem was there...it was an INTER-COLLEGE event.

I currently study in HITK, sugata in Ashutosh and bhutu is in CNMC, the host college. Suddenly a brainstorm comes to us. We had ONE thing in common....all of us were from CBS.....so be it. We register under the name of CBS in an inter-college competition (LOLZ)....with obvious backing from our dearest bhutu.

We came in FIRST out of 13 teams in the prelims and came SECOND in the finals out of 6 teams.

Readers don't get me wrong...I am not flaunting our petty win in a dumb charrades competition in a college fest. It's the school spirit that I want to bring  forward. It still lingers on after almost 4 years after all 3 of us passed out.

CBS always was and always will be the closest to our hearts because that is where we have left behind our childhood. Friends, divided by the world, can find the deepest of attractions because of that intense respect and love we hold for that place. I have already found my heaven on earth, the place where I have made the best of friends.
